Hey there! I’m Ashley Morena, founder and CEO of Project School Nutrition. With my experience overseeing $1.4 million in school nutrition transformations, I’ve seen firsthand just how crucial it is to treat school nutrition like a business. It’s not just about serving up tasty meals—although that’s important—it’s about efficiency and making a real impact. That’s why I started Project School Nutrition. My mission? To bridge the gaps, support teams looking to make a change, and ensure every student gets the nourishment they need to thrive.
As a registered dietitian and proud graduate of the University of Akron, I am thrilled to partner with you in creating your dream menus. My primary focus is to ensure that all of your menus not only meet the necessary compliance standards but also tell a captivating story. We believe that by crafting menus that engage and inspire, we can help you grow your participation and make a lasting impact in your program. Join us on this exciting journey as we transform the way school nutrition is experienced. Can you tell I LOVE plants too! ;)
Hello, my name is Madison and I am a Registered Dietitian for Project School Nutrition and have dedicated most of my career to K-12 school nutrition. My passion for school nutrition stems from a deep commitment to fostering the health and well-being of students by providing nourishing and balanced meals that not only support their physical development but also contribute to creating an environment conducive to optimal learning and growth. My mission is to turn the act of eating into a fun and positive moment that encourages students to embrace healthy food choices with enthusiasm and truly enjoy their school meal experience.
Hi, I’m Olivia Kendall, a Registered Dietitian and proud graduate of the University of Akron. Before joining Project School Nutrition, I served as a Nutrition Services Director, where I developed a passion for helping others and improving the quality of school nutrition programs. Fun fact: during my time at the University of Akron, I completed several internship rotations with PSN during COVID. Enjoyed helping districts serve their communities during a challenging time. I’m excited to bring my experience to PSN and continue supporting schools in fostering healthier environments for students to thrive.
Hi, I’m Sarah Hochadel, Executive Assistant and HR Officer at Project School Nutrition. I bring nearly a decade of experience working in a school district’s administration office, where I supported operations and nutrition services. I’m excited to use my knowledge of behind-the-scenes, day-to-day paperwork to help support our school partners. My goal is to ensure everything runs smoothly so schools can focus on what really matters—serving great meals to students.
