Gratitude In All Things

Taking a moment before bed to check-in with myself. I try my best to start and end my day with gratitude. I am grateful for remote learning and for my boys’ teachers who care so deeply about them. I am grateful for the hands-on learning they wouldn’t necessarily have during the day such as building tables and planting flowers. I am incredibly grateful for my team and my managers who are working harder now than ever before without hesitation.

I have moments… many, many moments in a day where I feel like I’m failing as a mom, a leader, a partner… but taking a moment every night before bed to recognize all the luxuries and life lessons during my day helps to remind me that I am the best mom and leader that I can be and that I don’t have to be perfect.

Seeing The Good

Recognizing that in the midst of a pandemic my team is serving 84% of our student population! I mean come on… so what if a product didn’t come in individually wrapped and now we have to add more labor hours at the last second…Unfortunately many of us can have 100 things go right in a day but when one thing goes wrong, we let that define our day.

This is just a reminder to stay strong and you are worthy. There is someone somewhere who is counting on you and looking up to you.

Let’s do this together, let’s go!
